One more exam out of the way!!

Today was my behavioral science oral exam. I had to perform a patient interview in front of a faculty member. Who do I get? The Dean of the School. No pressure, right? The interview went fine but I forgot to ask some questions to rule out some things. But give me a break, I had 10 minutes to do a complete interview. The dean questioned me about a few things, and I nailed the questions. After the exam, he told me to relax because I did fine. So now I just need to worry about the pathology lab exam and the two big written exams that are coming up. Not to mention my case report that needs to be finished. But it will all get done.

One Step Closer!!

Today was the first of many practical exams for this semester. I had to demonstrate my competence at performing a physical exam. The way this exam works is you go into the exam room with you group. You are randomly chosen to perform a task and the task you perform is given to you at random. I received my tasked and performed the exam. I passed with flying colors and was told that I did it perfectly. I guess I have learned something down here after all.

The Things you do when you are a bored medical student....(What State are you?)

You're Maryland!

You enjoy contemplating your navel so much that you want to build a whole
school devoted to said purpose. You like Chevy Chase a ton as well, maybe even more than
Cal Ripken since he started doing those Century 21 commercials. Mostly, though, you want
to kick back, watch the ballgame, and eat crabcakes. Brick is by far your favorite
building material. You might even call yourself a brick house.
