Good News...Finally!!!

Today I received an email indicating that I have a medical school interview on Dec. 16. That week is going to be nice and stressful since I have exams the three days before that. Well, wish me luck.

And It Begins Again!!!

I just received my third medical school rejection. The first was from Georgetown University. I was fine with this because they said no before. The second was from Wake Forest University. So much for Southern hospitality. The third came today from Virginia Commonwealth University. But from what I hear this isn't a good university to begin with and they only like in state people anyway. So out of 19 schools, 3 have said no, 1 has put me in the "continue to review" pile and 15 have told me nothing yet. Hopefully, it will all work out this year.

I need a vacation!!

With the semester winding down, everything is due very soon. Things that I have left to accomplish are a presentation, a paper, homework and exams. On top of all that, there is work. Tomorrow I need to do three days worth of stuff in 5 hours, just because my boss is a jerk and thinks that everything can be done in 2 minutes. I hate my job! Now, I'm waiting to hear from all those medical schools. Two have rejected me. I wonder how much money I'm wasting just to hear them say, "Sorry, we don't want you here because you don't meet the non-academic criteria." But what can you do?

On another note, I'm glad to know that in Andy's entourage, I am a steward and in charge of protocol. That means I am nothing more than C3PO. At least I'm being charged with any illegal activity.

Is anyone still reading this?

This is a quick update. I've retaken the MCAT in August and scored in the dead center of my other two scores. I'm finishing my Master's degree this winter. I'm applying to med school, which hopefully will happen this time. I'm working for the world's worst boss. But I'm looking for a new job. If anyone knows any jobs in biology, let me know. If med school doesn't work, I'm going to pursue a PhD and do medical research. And finally, once I start blogging more regularly, the Drink of the Week will be back.
